KIDS WHO LEARN ABOUT JESUS AND HAVE FUN WHILE DOING IT
This is the goal for TOV Kids. We don't want to just be a child care option on Sunday morning, but we want to help support parents in planting the seeds early on with their children as to who Jesus is and what He has done for us. At a young age, children are so impressionable and they are able to very quickly learn about the Bible and ask questions to further their spiritual understanding. We believe that children can spiritually pursue the Lord and come to understand what sin is and why Jesus had to die on the cross and rise from the grave, which gives them the hope of eternal life with Him! All of this can be done in a fun and engaging environment that excites the children and makes them want to come back again and again.
What does a typical Sunday look like?
Our Children's Ministry is for little ones who are newly walking up to fifth grade. Each child gets checked in and divided up by grade so that they are receiving an age appropriate Bible lesson. Each Sunday, there is worship time, a Bible lesson with guided questions for the kids, snack time and an activity, including outdoor time, weather permitting. For snack time, we do offer gluten free and dairy free options.
Our team
Along with Bible teaching and ensuring the kids are having a great time, it is our utmost priority that the children are safe during their time with us. Our team leaders and volunteers have all been carefully vetted and all have background checks on file. Additionally, our Children's Ministry works hand in hand with our Security Team to make sure that the focus for the kids can be Jesus and fun!
